4Th Edition of Expo-Kongo Gathers about 200 Exhibitors

Africa-Press – Angola. About 200 exhibitors, including national and foreign, will participate in the 4th edition of Expo-Kongo, to be held on 7 and 9 July this year, in Mbanza Kongo, Zaire province, as part of the 8th anniversary of the elevation of the Historic Center of this city to World Heritage Site.

Organized by the provincial government of Zaire, in partnership with the exhibition and events company Clin Eventos, the Expo aims to promote the economic and cultural potential of this region, which in July will also hold the International Festival of Kongo Culture ‘FestiKongo’.

According to the head of the company Clin Eventos, Domingos Fernandes, who was speaking to the press at the presentation of Expo-Kongo/2025, 35 companies linked to the sectors of agriculture, commerce, industry, tourism and fisheries, have already confirmed their presence in this great showcase of business.

The official said that the fair will feature businessmen from the provinces of Luanda, Bengo, Uíge, Icolo and Bengo, Zaire, Benguela, Huíla, among other regions of the country.

‘Negotiations are underway so that we also have some companies from European countries such as Portugal at this event,’ stressed the source.

He said that the current edition of Expo-Kongo may surpass the previous one in terms of the number of participants and innovations in the banking sector and the performing arts.

The International Festival of Kongo Culture ‘FestiKongo’ will also be attended by members of the countries that were part of the former Kongo Kingdom, namely DRC, Congo and Gabon.
