Africa-Press – Angola. The candidate for President of the Republic for UNITA, Adalberto Costa Júnior, said this Sunday, in Luena, Moxico province, after appealing to voters to observe civility, that Angolans should avoid the mistakes of the past and work for the promotion of peace, and stability.

Speaking at the rally, within the scope of the electoral campaign, he pointed to the need for Angolans to walk together in the construction of a new and inclusive country.

He added that the country deserves to be reconciled and on the path of sustainable development, without families suffering from hunger and poverty.

Adalberto Costa Júnior reaffirmed that, in case of victory in the elections of 24 August, he will fulfill the dreams of youth, promoting the industrialization of the country.

The UNITA leader called for free, democratic and transparent elections to be held in Angola, having reaffirmed his conviction that the party would win at the polls.

Before Moxico, Adalberto Costa Júnior presented the guidelines of the manifesto and governance program in the provinces of Lunda-Norte and Lunda-Sul.

Stimulating The National Economy

The provincial secretary of Cuanza-Sul of UNITA, Armando Manuel Ka-quepa, assured yesterday, in the commune of Cariango, municipality of Quibala, in case of winning the General Elections of 24 August, the government to be formed by the party will bet on the private sector, to guarantee the dynamism of the economy and generate jobs.

Armando Manuel Kaquepa appealed to the party’s militants, sympathizers and friends to vote for number three, as a way of guaranteeing change. “The country is clamoring for changes, and, for that to happen, voters have to bet on UNITA that, through the Inclusive and Participatory Government (GIP) can transform Angola and the Angolans”, he said.

The politician reiterated that, in the governance programme, UNITA will institute a free and compulsory education system up to high school, distribution of school lunches in general schools, construction of technical-professional schools and return land to the people.

In the Health sector, Armando Manuel Kaquepa announced the construction of hospitals in the municipal and communal centers and the consequent training of health technicians and doctors, among other actions.
