Africa-Press – Angola. Altogether, 11 municipal administrators from Huambo successfully completed a training session on the impact of the municipalization of social action.
At the closing act, the Secretary of State for Social Action said that the objective of the seminar was to train administrators and technicians in the sector, in order to ensure the implementation of programs to combat poverty.
Lúcio do Amaral clarified that the seminar will guarantee the expansion and sustainability of the municipalization of social action, in particular, close to the most vulnerable people.
Social work in the communities, recalling, in particular, the work with vulnerable families, is directly linked to the administrators’ daily lives.
The training aimed at administrators, he clarified, will allow for a greater approach to programs to fight poverty and methodologies for empowering families in urban and rural communities.
“Providing government officials with knowledge on methods and techniques that allow greater understanding by municipal directors is a challenge in the fight against poverty through programs for the municipalization of social action”, he said.
Training on the municipalization of social action, he stressed, allowed transmitting a greater approach on programs to combat poverty and methodologies for empowering families in communities.

The vice-governor of Huambo for the Technical and Infrastructure sector, Elmano Francisco, hopes that the transmitted knowledge can help in the municipalization of social action in the communities, mainly with vulnerable families.
