Africa-Press – Angola. The fourth mobile operator in Angola, Africel, started operating this week in the capital of Huíla province, the municipality of Lubango, after Luanda, Cuanza Sul and Benguela.
The operator in question has been fully operational since 2022, in three (Luanda, Benguela and Cuanza Sul provinces), with the activation of network services at the height of customer needs.
In this city, on the subject, the production supervisor of the company’s management and marketing, Nuno Monteiro, despite not advancing the exact date of its setting, underlined that it takes place at Expo-Huíla level for the sale of products from Africel.
He underlined that the “chips” with the number of the mobile operator are being purchased at the stand at Expo-Huíla at 200 Kz and entitle to a promotional plan, which allows free calls.
He considered that the new operator will allow its customers to make free calls within the network, for an indefinite period, and calls to other networks will cost 12 Kz per minute.
Operators such as Unitel, Movicel and Angola Telecom operate in the province of Huíla.
