Africa-Press – Angola. On Tuesday (25), Airbus Southern Africa expressed its interest in seeking new partnerships in Angola and providing solutions for the sale, repair and personalization of aircraft.
The interest was expressed by the executive commercial director of Airbus Helicopters in Southern Africa, Sebastien Bully, received yesterday in Pretoria by the Angolan ambassador to South Africa, Filomena Delgado.
According to the Airbus official, quoted in a note from the Embassy in South Africa, the company has worked with governments and private customers, operating around 300 turbine helicopters throughout Southern Africa and along the Indian Ocean.
The services, he said, range from VIP travel, commercial transport, support to police, military and patient support lines, in addition to after-sales assistance and the supply of spare parts.
At the end of the hearing, Airbus’ executive commercial director in Southern Africa invited Ambassador Filomena Delgado to visit the company’s facilities in South Africa to assess its real capacity.
