Ambassador to China urges young people to contribute to building the nation

Africa-Press – Angola. The ambassador of Angola to the People’s Republic of China, João Salvador Neto, urged young Angolan students in the Chinese city of Wuhan to do their best in their studies, to contribute to building the country.

The diplomat, who was speaking at the celebration of 48 years of National Independence, marked on the 11th of this month, also invited all Angolans to participate in the gigantic, but honorable, effort to build a prosperous and modern country, in which every citizen have the essentials to live.

“The large investments made by the State in infrastructure, such as access roads, bridges, ports, airports and also in energy, water, health and education, as well as the great incentive for national production and its valorization, represent the great challenges for the Executive”, said João Salvador Neto, during the event, attended by the director-general of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chinese Communist Party.

During his presence in Wuhan, as part of the November 11th festivities, the head of the diplomatic mission in China came into contact with detailed information about the functioning of the Hubei International University of Technology, where more than 30 Angolans are enrolled, having received detailed information about the academic behavior of students, prospects for evolution and, in detail, finding out about their accommodation conditions.

Founded in 1952, Hubei International University of Technology is a multidisciplinary academic center, covering more than eight courses, including Engineering, Architecture, Humanities, Information Technologies, Art, Law, Management and Education.

The university has links with more than 15 countries around the world, with emphasis on the United States of America, Canada, Australia, France and the United Arab Emirates.

Music, dance and the rich national menu marked the cultural moment of the celebration of 48 years of Independence, also marked with an exhibition of 35 paintings on the History of November 11th, without losing sight of the benefits reflected in it. , with a view to serving the national citizen even better.
