Africa-Press – Angola. Angola administered, in the last 24 hours, 23,622 doses of vaccines against Covid-19, in different high-performance vaccination posts, according to the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP), distributed yesterday to the press.
The bulletin reports that, of the total doses, 5,827 were administered in Luanda, 3,596 in Huíla, 1,913 in Uíge, 1,471 in Namibe and 1,322 in Cuanza-Sul.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign against Covid-19 in the country, on March 2 of last year, 17,950,778 doses have been administered. Of this number, 6,166,088 are full doses and 11,852,132 are single doses.
According to the DNSP bulletin, until yesterday, 4,133,085 people had received booster shots. The National Vaccination Program plans to immunize a total of 20,754,946 eligible people.
