Africa-Press – Angola. Luanda- Angola outclassed Liberia on Tuesday with a final score of 63-0, securing their place in the semi-finals of the African Women’s Wheelchair Basketball Championship 5×5 in Luanda.

This was the first game of the tournament in which the national team did not concede any points to the opposing team.

Despite missing several opportunities in the first half, Angola started decisively in this last Group A match, winning convincingly and going into halftime with a 26-0 lead.

Aurora Yondondo was the top scorer with 10 points.

In the semi-finals, the women’s team will face the winner of the Algeria–South Africa game, which takes place on Tuesday. Morocco and Kenya will also face Tuesday afternoon.

In the men’s category, the Algerian team defeated Liberia 106–10.

Morocco-Kenya and Angola-South Africa are also scheduled for this category.
