Africa-Press – Angola. Angola is among the ten best African countries to invest in 2022, according to Business Insider, a news site that tracks investments in Africa.

In an article written by Olayinka Sodiq, an expert in investments, finance, markets and money laundering, Business Insider places Angola in ninth position, ahead of Côte D’Ivoire.

The list is headed by Nigeria, followed successively by Egypt, South Africa, Algeria and Morocco. In sixth, seventh and eighth positions are Kenya, Ethiopia and Ghana.

Regarding Angola, Olayinka Sodiq highlights the fact that the country is rich in resources such as oil and gas and has arable land.

“Angola’s investment risks and opportunities report suggests that the country is the second largest oil producer in Africa. According to statistics, Angola has a GDP of US$66.49 billion. Trading Economics predicted that the country’s GDP could exceed 100 billion dollars by 2022”, he says.

For the growth of the GDP of Angola, he underlines, trade, transport, storage, construction and fishing contribute. It is these sectors that, in Olayinka Sodiq’s view, represent growth opportunities for investors.
