Africa-Press – Angola. The deputy director of the Center for International Studies and Advanced Training of the China Foreign Language Publication Administration, Zhu Zhong Shu, declared on Monday (01) in Beijing that Cooperation between Angola and China has yielded remarkable results in the political, social, and economic fields.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the seminar for press professionals, which runs from the 1st to the 20th of the current month in the Chinese capital, he added that in recent years, under the guidance of the Belt and Road initiative and the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, relations between the two countries have remained sincere and friendly.
He recalled that during the recent visit of the Angolan Head of State, Joao Lourenco, to China, both countries’ leaders attached great importance to deepening bilateral relations.
The official said that holding the seminar is one of the concrete measures to implement the consensus reached during the leaders’ meeting, aiming to deepen mutual understanding through direct dialogue, contribute to raising the level of strategic relations and advance the process of the two States’ modernization.
Zhu Zhong Shu noted that his country expressed its willingness to strengthen the sharing of governance experiences with Angola, promote cultural exchanges in various forms, and deepen mutual understanding between the two peoples.
For him, Angola and China represent important forces in driving Sino-African development cooperation and are united by a solid foundation of cooperation and traditional friendship.
