Angola and India sign three cooperation agreements this Friday

Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and India will sign three legal instruments this Friday afternoon, aimed at strengthening bilateral exchanges and the level of cooperation existing between the two countries.

This is the Agreement on Visa Exemption for holders of Diplomatic, Official and Service Passports between Angola and India, Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Health of Angola and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Indian Government , in addition to the Memorandum of Understanding between the Venâncio de Moura Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Sushma Swara Institute of Foreign Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of India.

To deal with this procedure, the ambassador of India to Angola in Angola, Pratibha Parkar, was received today, in Luanda, by the minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António.

The occasion served for the Indian diplomat to convey to the head of Angolan diplomacy the invitation of the conservative president of the Foundation for Observer and Research of Raisina Dialogue to Téte António, as an esteemed speaker of the seventh edition of “Raisina Dialogue” that takes place in New Delhi from 25 the 27th of April next.

Raisina Dialogue is India’s flagship conference on geopolitics and geo-economics, organized by the Observer and Research Foundation* and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Government of India, since 2016.

India established diplomatic relations with Angola in 1985 and since then has maintained cooperation considered extremely cordial.
