Angola and Spain are analyzing the installation of factories for fishing artifacts

Africa-Press – Angola. The creation of conditions for the implementation of factories of fishing artifacts in Angola was one of the themes analyzed, on Monday (29), in Spain, between the Angolan Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources, Carmen Neto, and the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luís Planas.

In addition to this theme, the government officials also addressed the possibility of building vessels for artisanal fishing and implementing the blue economy, according to a note released on Tuesday.

Additionally, the ministers analyzed the formalization of a work plan that aims at actions within the scope of the cooperation agreement in force, namely the request for support for the implementation of the fisheries inspection project, construction of laboratories in the fishing provinces and the base project for scientific data to be carried out by Spanish companies.

On the occasion, the Spanish minister showed total interest and willingness to continue relations between the two countries, ensuring the presentation of the Angolan agenda to the European Union, within the scope of the Presidency that the Kingdom of Spain will assume.

The working visit of the Angolan delegation to Spain also served to invite Spaniards to participate in the Blue Economy Fair, taking place in October this year, in Benguela province.

Led by minister Carmen Neto, the delegation includes the director of the Fisheries and Marine Research Institute, the office director and a consultant.
