Africa-Press – Angola. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, received, this Thursday, in Luanda, the resident coordinator of the United Nations in Angola, Zahira Virani, with whom he discussed issues related to the strengthening of relations between the Angolan State and the UN, concerning to peace and security.
According to a MIREX press release sent to Jornal de Angola Online, UN Angola and its local partners are working towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals that are in line with the National Development Plan 2018-2022.
“The Office of the Resident Coordinator encompasses all organizations of the United Nations System that deal with operational activities for development, regardless of their formal presence in the country”, reads the document.
