Africa-Press – Angola. Angola and the United States of America addressed this Tuesday, in Luanda, matters related to the launch of the Atlantic Basin partnership, scheduled for the first half of September, in Lisbon, Portugal.
The matter was discussed at a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Téte António, and the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the United States of America to Angola, Tulinabo Mushingi.
The Atlantic Basin aims to complement all other existing initiatives in relation to the management and preservation of the North, Central and South Atlantic.
The occasion was used by the American diplomat to congratulate the Angolan people on the success of the elections in Angola, with his country following the electoral process as an observer in different provinces of Angola.
