Africa-Press – Angola. Angola has already started to create the conditions to host, from 19 to 21 February this year, in Luanda, the Constitutive Assemblies of the Organization of African, Caribbean and European Union States (OEACP-EU), he assured, this Wednesday , deputy Ângela Bragança.
The president of the National Monitoring Group for the Parliaments of European and ACP-EU Countries, Ângela Bragança, who led the II meeting on the state of preparation for the event, emphasized that the work is progressing at a good pace, with tasks being resolved and responsibilities assigned.
Given the importance of the event, the deputy coordinator of the OEACP-UE organization highlighted the participation of several stakeholders in ensuring quality services for guests attending the event, from visa facilitation, protocol support, logistics and others.
This Wednesday’s preparatory meeting, held at the National Assembly, was attended by the Secretary of State for Health for the Hospital Area, Leonardo Inocêncio.
The Secretary of State assured, on the occasion, support in the area of health and food security for participants in the event.
Alongside the Constitutive Assemblies, women’s and youth forums will also be held.
In this regard, deputy Ângela Bragança noted that the objective is to promote greater partnership and rapprochement between the people of the ACP/EU states, in light of the new Samoa Agreement, which, together, will discuss topics of common interest.
The themes affect young people and women, such as gender equality, entrepreneurship, employment, among others.
The OEACP brings together around 1,500 million people from three continents and 79 countries, 48 from Sub-Saharan Africa, 16 from the Caribbean and 15 from the Pacific.
