Africa-Press – Angola. Angola participates with a delegation led by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Esmeralda Mendonça, from today until Friday, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, in the 5th Meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Steering Committee for the Rationalization of Economic and Regional Communities in Africa Center (COPILCER – AC).
The event’s main objective is to examine and adopt the draft texts of the New Economic Community of the Central African Region, which will replace the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS), as well as its economic and monetary zone, CEMAC ( Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa).
The process now under analysis was validated by COPILCER experts, in its previous meetings, namely from 9 to 13 November of the year 2020 and in the various sessions of May 2021.
