The province of Benguela plans to have a football museum. It is indeed an initiative of AFP from Benguela. According to the explanations of the president of the association, Júlio Brito, the creation of this museum is an innovative project and aims to perpetuate the history of Angolan football legends who have marked Benguela. “Miau, Pedro Garcia, Maluka, Sayombo, Sarmento and Akwá, are some of the various football stars who have played in the province and who will see their achievements continue in the property. », He affirmed.
According to information from the Angolan daily Jornal de Angola, the museum will be built inside the national stadium in Ombaka. This construction project is estimated at around 30 million kwanzas, or around 50,000 euros. For the moment, nothing is decided yet regarding its construction date.
