Africa-Press – Angola. Angola recorded, in the last 24 hours, two cases, on a day in which there was no notification of recovered or death associated with Co-vid-19, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP) distributed yesterday to press.
The bulletin mentions that infections were registered in Luanda (1) and Zaire (1). The infected are aged between 5 and 53 years, all male.
Five patients are hospitalized in Covid-19 treatment centers across the country. Four citizens are in institutional quarantine and 132 are in home isolation.
The Molecular Biology Laboratory processed, in the last 24 hours, 513 samples, of which two were positive. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,476,533 samples have been processed, of which 99,015 have tested positive.
With these data, the country accounts for 99,015 positive cases, of which 1,900 resulted in deaths, 96,978
recovered and 137 active. Of this number, two are moderate, three with mild symptoms and 132 are asymptomatic.
