Africa-Press – Angola. The country recorded, in the last 24 hours, five new cases and the recovery of 15 people from Covid-19, according to data from the newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP).
The bulletin mentions that infections were registered in Zaire (4) and Luanda (1). Those infected are between 34 and 52 years old, all male.
Regarding recoveries, the document says, six were reported in Cabinda, five in Luanda and four in Zaire.
In the last 24 hours, 875 samples were processed, of which five were positive. Since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, in March 2020, 1,486,258 samples have already been processed, of which 99,063 are positive.
With these data, the country has a total of 99,063 confirmed cases, of which 1,900 resulted in deaths, 97,034 recovered and 129 are active cases.
The Ministry of Health clarifies that of the set of active cases, there are no patients in a critical or serious condition, but there are two moderate ones, an equal number of mild patients and 125 are asymptomatic.
At the level of Covid-19 treatment centers across the country, there are only four inpatients registered. A total of four people are in institutional quarantine, while 125 are in home isolation.
