Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, said this Monday that Angola will take advantage of Cape Verde’s vast experience and knowledge for the implementation of municipal power “and that it is getting closer and closer to making it a reality”.
“We are determined to make this a reality”, stressed the President, noting that things must be done well, whose power must be based on the law.
João Lourenço, who did not give a specific date, stressed that the implementation of local authorities will take place as soon as the Municipal Legislative Package is closed by the National Assembly.
The Angolan Head of State was speaking today at a press conference, as part of his three-day state visit to Cape Verde.
