Africa-Press – Angola. Of the 2,312 samples collected and tested yesterday across the country, none had a positive result, after a long period with a record of high numbers of contagion by Covid-19, according to data on the epidemiological situation, in the last 24 hours.

The newsletter of the National Directorate of Public Health (DNSP), distributed yesterday to the press, also mentions that there was no death record and 103 people were recovered.
Recoveries were recorded in Cuanza-Norte (26), Zaire (17), Cabinda (16), Luanda (15), Lunda-Norte (13), Namibe (13) and Moxico (1). The recovered are aged between 7 and 86 years.

With these data, the country has 98,514 positive cases, of which 1,898 deaths, 96,377 recovered and 239 active. Of this number, four are moderate, two have mild symptoms and 233 are asymptomatic.

In Covid-19 treatment centers across the country, six patients are hospitalized. 12 citizens are in institutional quarantine and 231 are in home isolation.

The Molecular Biology Laboratory processed, in the last 24 hours, 2,312 samples, without any positive. Since the beginning of the pandemic in March 2020, 1,403,739 samples have been processed, of which 98,514 have tested positive.
