Africa-Press – Angola. The outgoing ambassador of Angola to Argentina, Fidelino Peliganga, at the end of his mission, bid farewell to the highest officials of diplomacy in Bolivia and Paraguay, Rogerio Mayta and Julio Carlos Arriola, respectively.

According to the press release, in both meetings the Angolan diplomat reviewed the agreements signed in the most diverse aspects, as well as the commitment to continue all actions paralyzed as a result of Covid-19.

According to the Angolan diplomat, pending issues on the bilateral agenda with each country were addressed at the two hearings and they agreed to carry out reciprocal visits by foreign affairs officials.

During the meeting, they discussed issues related to visa exemption in diplomatic and service passports, as well as the implementation of an agreement between the diplomatic academies of both countries.

Fidelino Peliganga also explained the interest shown by Bolivia to work, until May this year, with some urgency, on the proposals of legal interest that are under negotiation.

The Embassy of Angola in Buenos Aires has Bolivia, Ecuador, Uruguay and Paraguay as countries of diplomatic coverage.

Fidelino Peliganga was recently appointed by the President of the Republic, João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço, to carry out the duties of Angola’s ambassador to the Republic of São Tomé and Príncipe.
