Africa-Press – Angola. Diplomat Florêncio de Almeida presented, on Friday, to the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, the credentials that qualify him as Angola’s first extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to that Asian country.
On the occasion, President Joko Widodo congratulated and welcomed Florêncio de Almeida, as well as expressing his intention to strengthen cooperation with Angola.
In turn, the Angolan diplomat, after conveying President João Lourenço’s greetings to his Indonesian counterpart, considered it necessary to work on promoting good understanding and mutual collaboration.
At the ceremony, held at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta, the ambassadors of Rwanda, Denmark, Chile, Canada, Laos, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Cambodia and Jordan were also accredited.
