Africa-Press – Angola. The Angolan Alberto Domingos “Jó” is since Monday the new coach of the national senior men’s roller hockey team, replacing the Argentine Miguel Belbruno.

According to a note from the Angolan Skating Federation (FAP) arriving at press, the former international and other members of the national technical team will be presented on Friday, in Luanda, at a press conference.

Inácio dos Santos “Mama” will be the assistant coach, in the seniors, while António Victor “Duke” is the new coach of the Under-20 team.

Jó, former striker of Petro de Luanda, replaces the Argentine Miguel Belbruno, who guided the national team in the last World Cup, which took place in San Juan (Argentina), in September 2022.

The coach, who is also a two-time national champion for Académica de Luanda, has already worked for the under-20s as head coach.

In addition to the replaced Argentine, the Angolan senior team, João Cruz and Bastos de Abreu (now deceased), Clementino Assis, Nelson Costa, Nelson Amado “Sony”, Orlando Graça, Miguel Umbert Riera (Spanish) and Fernando Fallé ( Portuguese).
