Africa-Press – Angola. The national volleyball team lost 0-2, with scores of 12-21 and 9-21, against their Namibian counterparts, in the first round of the men’s tournament of the fourth African Youth Games, taking place in Luanda Island, in the capital.
The Angolan duo consists of Miguel Zenguele and Adilson Cafala, who will play again on Friday against the Senegalese players Amadou Laye Samb and Muhammad Al-Amine Mbaye.
The beach volleyball tournament involves 16 teams in the men’s category and eight in the women’s, and is played in a round-robin format with two rounds.
The competition continues on Friday, when the Angolan women’s duo, formed by Paula Fernanda and Noelma Muzadi, will face the Botswana team composed of Amogelang Taolo and Tshegofatso Zwebathu.
