Africa-Press – Angola. A message from Angolan President João Lourenço to his Senegalese counterpart, Bassirou Diomaye Diakhar Faye, was delivered Monday in Dakar. The message aims to strengthen the excellent relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
According to a note from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MIREX), Angolan Foreign Affairs minister Téte António delivered the presidential message, the content of the message was not revealed.
Angola and Senegal have a close relationship based on shared values, mutual respect, and similar positions on regional and continental issues.
The two countries are working to strengthen bilateral relations, focusing on political, diplomatic, economic, and multilateral domains.
Both nations reaffirm their commitment to peace, stability, and pacifying the African continent. They actively contribute to promoting dialogue, security, and sustainable development in Africa.
