Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan president João Lourenço received on Monday in audience, the Minister of State of the United Arab Emirates, Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Alnahyan, with whom he discussed aspects related to bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
Shakhboot Bin Nahyan Al Nahyan did not make any statements to the press at the end of the meeting. He has maintained regular contact with the Angolan authorities within the framework of the strategic partnership between Angola and the UAE.
These contacts also reinforce the UAE’s position as Angola’s development partner, extending beyond business to governance and strategic infrastructure projects.
In recent years, cooperation relations between Angola and the United Arab Emirates have intensified greatly, allowing cooperation to diversify beyond oil.
The authorities of the Middle Eastern country have promoted investments in health, renewable energy, agriculture, education, logistics infrastructure, trade, and technology.
