Africa-Press – Angola. Angolan tennis player Joelson Paulino beat Reagile Diratitsile, from Botswana, by 6-0 and 6-1, in a game for the African Under-18 Circuit of the International Federation (ITF) and continental (CAT), to be played from 10 to 15th of this month, in Gaborone (Botswana).

In the other match of the competition, which allows scoring in the junior ranking of the ITF and CAT, the also Angolan Emerson Pedro was unhappy, losing 2-6, to the seed number four, Tendai Chihowa.

The two national players, affiliated with Núcleo de Ténis Jacquisa de Luanda, on training in South Africa, qualified for the aforementioned Botswana Circuit, due to their performance and results in tournaments in the city of Pretoria.

Circuit scoring paves the way for future participation in ITF and CAT events, as well as others internationally.

Recently, Joelson Paulino won the GN Mini Tournament, in pairs, in the senior class, also held in Pretoria.

With the partnership of Mahefara Kotomalala, the duo defeated Allan Gatoto/Fenosa Resendra in the final game, by two (2) sets to zero, with partials of 6-3 and 6-4.

Daniel Domingos, in Sub-16, from Kikuxi Villas Club, also won the Alcobaça tournament, in Portugal, in the final against the host Vasco Nunes, by 6-3 and 6-1.
