He acknowledged the prominent role that Angolan youth played and continues to play throughout Angola’s historical process, “from the struggle to conquer National Independence and Defense of Sovereignty”, having underlined the contribution of young people to “building the Democratic State and Law”, as well as participation in the process of national reconstruction.

This youth, he said, has been made of “stone and lime” and now, with solid scientific knowledge acquired in the homeland of Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping, combined with a “very rich constructive and civic experience”, it offers actions that make all Angolans proud.

“We can see, here, not only Angolans, but citizens of other nationalities, eager to drink a little of our experience, which is why we exhort you to preserve the patriotic feeling, with maximum energy and to do your best, spreading this time a positive image of Angolans”, added Joana de Jesus Feijó, during a commemorative act of the 14th of April, held Saturday, under the aegis of the nucleus of the National Youth Council (CNJ), in China.

The minister-counselor considered that the sports and cultural activities, involving the community of young residents, most of whom are students, also served as a “very clear message” that youth from various parts of China and Angola “are united, strong, cohesive” and giving concrete evidence that he knows very well what he wants and where he is going.

“You fill us with pride and also demonstrate that you are prepared for the challenges and achievements of the future”, he confessed, and then highlighted the unconditional support conveyed by Ambassador Salvador Neto.
