Africa-Press – Angola. The cultural association “Angola Verstehen – Compreendo Angola” is officially presented to the public this Tuesday (08), at 5:30 pm, in an act to be held “online” in both countries, under the presentation of some of its members.

The Angolan Sandra Sabrowsky, resident in Germany, told Jornal de Angola that the association was founded in that European country by her and the German Chrstiane Harff. The association’s members are mostly German, interested in discovering Angolan culture, as well as some cultural and tourist routes.

The presentation ceremony will also serve to celebrate International Women’s Day and will be attended by Christiane Harff, Sandra Sabrowsky, Susanne Hericks and Willma de Sousa. The activity, he explained, will also include the participation of plastic artist Ginga Artimista and photographer and cultural activist Nelson dos Santos.

Sandra Sabrowsky informed that the idea is also to reinforce the commitment to social and cultural entrepreneurship, through initiatives such as Nkiela, a project linked to the development of culture, tourism and the environment, especially in the Mucusso commune, in Cuando Cubango.

The association, he said, also seeks to make known Angolan artists, from various disciplines, residing in the northern region of Europe. “All fundraising funds are directed to the Mucusso commune”, he clarified, in addition to leaving the doors open for partnerships.
