ANIESA closes establishment due to lack of hygiene in Cunene

Africa-Press – Angola. National Authority for Economic Inspection and Food Safety (ANIESA) ordered, this Thursday, the closure of a commercial establishment, in the province of Cunene, due to a lack of hygiene and the sale of products in poor condition.

According to ANIESA’s deputy coordinator, Belarmino Tumbuleni, the inspection service found a marked lack of health in the warehouse, which puts the food products in stock at risk, and therefore temporarily suspended commercial activity.

At the scene, 45 bags of wheat flour and 29 bags of cornmeal with characteristics unsuitable for human consumption, containing animals, were seized.

“It is necessary that commercial establishments are properly legalized, with products well packaged, and without harm to the health of consumers”, he argued, adding that a fine will be applied, according to the transgressions recorded.
