Africa-Press – Angola. The Anima BR animated film festival presents in Luanda, for 10 days, proposals for all ages, from different regions of Brazil and developed with various techniques from “stop-motion” to computer graphics or painting on glass.
The festival takes place within the scope of a multidisciplinary program launched by the Brazilian Embassy and the Brazil-Angola Cultural Center (CCBA), between 30 March and 9 April, with the involvement of partners from Angolan universities and creators and artists from Brazil, in addition to participation of local, Angolan and Brazilian traders, says a statement from the organization.
During these 10 days, films will be shown to different audiences, with director Marcelo Marão present at the opening session, who will present his film “Minhocas”, the first great stop-motion film in Brazil, one of the most elaborate productions in history. of animated cinema in the country, both in terms of budget and production time.
