Representatives of the aforementioned companies, many of them vice-presidents, are in Angola as part of the official visit that the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Austria, Karl Nehammer, is making as part of the strengthening of bilateral cooperation.

The vice president of the Austrian Economic Chambers, Carmem Goby, who was speaking at the opening ceremony of the Angola/Austria Business Forum, considered that the meeting constitutes a “step” that will strengthen the relationship and partnership between the two countries in the long term.

Representing more than 500,000 Austrian companies that are part of the Chamber, Carmem Goby said that they support companies, from small to large spread across several countries.

“I am accompanied by 12 large companies interested in investing in Angola and others already with some investment, with success”, said the Austrian businesswoman.

The group of companies carries out networking between Angolan companies, in addition to other sectoral meetings, with members of the Government.
