Banda Weya, Bandas Telestars, Roxane Project and Conjunto Dizu Dietu performed, starting at 4:00 pm, at Prova d’Art Miramar, for the closing of the 4th edition of the Band Festival, interrupted on Sunday due to heavy rain. “It is with great enthusiasm that we announce the new date for the second day of the Band Festival, which was interrupted and blessed by Saint Peter. On Thursday, May 1st, on Workers’ Day, we will resume our celebration with all the strength and energy that music deserves”, says the statement sent to our Editorial Team.
The event, produced by Marito Furtado, was unable to withstand the heavy rain that began after the performance of Banda Weya, the first and only band to have the opportunity to provide live music on the second day of the festival.The bands Telestars, from Cabinda, Roxane Project and Conjunto Dizu Dietu were left out of the stage. On the opening day, the music was in full swing with performances by Semba Muxima, Banda Duia, Mizangala Dt and Banda Maravilha, who accompanied guitarist Botto Trindade, the musician honored in this edition.
