Africa-Press – Angola. More than 100 exhibitors are registered to participate in the second edition of the International Agro-business Fair of the Commune of Barra do Cuanza, municipality of Bela, in Luanda.
The exhibition will take place in an area of more than 30 thousand square meters, in the Mangais Golf course and will feature exhibitors from the provinces of Luanda, Huíla, Namibe, Cunene, Cuanza Sul, Malanje, Huambo, Cuanza Norte and Bengo, from the republics of Namibia, South Africa and Zambia.
According to the programme, the event, which will take place over three days, will be attended by the ministers of Agriculture and Forestry, António Francisco de Assis, and of Energy and Water, and João Baptista Borges.
For the three days, round tables are planned on “The role of agribusiness in the economic and social development of Angola”, “The optimization of Rural well-being” and “Management of cooperatives”.
There are also lectures on “The importance of preventive management”, “Swine farming and agribusiness”, among other topics.
The event will also feature an exhibition and auction of livestock and recreational and cultural activities.
The commune of Barra do Cuanza is located about 100 kilometers south of the city center of Luanda.
