Africa-Press – Angola. The Misto do Uige, defending champions, qualified Tuesday, in Lubango, for the semi-finals of the 18th National Senior Men’s Wheelchair Basketball Championship, beating Huambo by an expressive 73-16, in the quarter-finals.
In the semi-finals, the team from Uigen meets, this Wednesday, the Escorpiões de Viana, who in the same phase beat Obra Social da Maxinde, from Malanje, by 39-26.
The second semi-final will pit Cuanza Norte against Bié. Ndalatando’s team defeated Sumbe’s (Misto do Cuanza Sul) 38-22, while the two teams defeated the Viana Rehabilitation Centre, in Luanda, by 42-26.
The final and match for third place takes place on Thursday.
