Africa-Press – Angola. The InterClube de Angola women’s senior basketball team has been in Egypt since Saturday, to participate in the African Champion Clubs’ Cup, taking place in Alexandria, starting on Monday.
The delegation is headed by the vice-president for basketball, Edson Quixito, and includes 25 members, including athletes and technical staff.
Twelve teams will participate in this competition, divided into two groups of six each, with the four best classified in each group competing in the quarter-finals.
The teams classified in 5th place will compete in classification games (9th and 10th place), while the four winners of the quarter-finals will qualify for the semi-finals. The four losers will compete in classification games (4th to 8th place).
The two winning teams from the semi-finals will play in the final. The two losers will play for classification (3rd and 4th place).
