Africa-Press – Angola. Petro de Luanda confirmed on Monday the return of Angolan international Yanick Moreira, to reinforce the main men’s senior basketball team for the 2023-24 season.
Information about the 2.11m basketball player was published on the Facebook page of the oil club that will be involved in the National Championship and the African Basketball League (BAL).
32 years old, the player from Hapoel Afula in Israel, has already been involved in the formation of “ixo-viario”, in the 2022 edition, with Brazilian José Neto in technical command.
A graduate of Clube Desportivo 1° de Agosto, the athlete was promoted to the senior ranks from 2008 to 2011, under the technical guidance of Angolan Jaime Covilhã.
He was also at the service of SMU Mustangs Basket Universitários in the USA (2013-2015), UCAM Murcia Basket in Spain (2015-2016), Rouen Basket in France and Virtus Bologm Basket (Spain).
