The Development Bank of Angola (BDA) met this Wednesday, in the city of Cuito, Bié province, with companies that received funding within the scope of the Credit Support Project (PAC) and others in the process of negotiation, with a view to assessing the difficulties that entrepreneurs face.
To date, 210 projects have been sent to the Ministry of Economy and Planning, of which 88 have been submitted to the BDA, 50 of which have already been disbursed and the rest in the negotiation phase.
The 50 financed projects absorbed three billion kwanzas, invested in the sectors of agriculture, industry and fishing.
Speaking to the local press, the BDA technician, Domingas Catumbela, asked businessmen to speed up the reimbursement of values, so that more projects are financed.
At this time, the bank develops programs aimed at raising awareness of them at country level, with a view to recovering the amount financed and consequently allowing the financing of more projects.
