Africa-Press – Angola. Maria do Carmo Bastos Corte Real Bernardo was appointed yesterday to the role of non-executive director and chairman of the Board of Directors of the Development Bank of Angola (BDA), replacing António Sozinho.
According to a statement from the Civil House of the President of the Republic, the Head of State, João Lourenço, dismissed on Wednesday (30) the members of the Board of Directors and the Executive Committee of the Development Bank of Angola (BDA).
Thus, António Sozinho, non-executive director and chairman of the Board of Directors, ceases to function; Samahina de Sousa da Silva Saúde, José Aníbal Lopes Rocha, Leonel Felisberto da Silva and Constantino Manuel dos Santos, all non-executive directors.
From the Executive Committee, according to the same document, Henda Essanju Inglês, executive director and chairman of the Executive Committee, ceases to function; Clemente de Oliveira Paulo, Elizabeth Fernanda João Sungani David Kinanga and Mariana José Sebastião de Aragão, as executive directors.
In another order, the President of the Republic appointed Maria do Carmo Bastos Corte Real Bernardo, as non-executive director and chairman of the Board of Directors; José Aníbal Lopes Rocha, Leonel Felisberto da Silva and Constantino Manuel dos Santos, all non-executive directors.
Patrícia Bernardo Paiva de Almeida da Cunha was appointed to the Executive Committee as executive director and chairman of the Executive Committee; António Luís Freire, Domingos Pedro, Ivan Emanuel Marques dos Santos and Bonifácio Emanuel Setucula Sessa, all acting as executive directors.
