Africa-Press – Angola. The candidate for President of the Republic by the PRS, Benedito Daniel, promised, in Caxito, that, in case of victory in the General Elections, his government will boost the Agriculture sector in Bengo, to ensure the region’s development.

According to Benedito Daniel, who made a short stop in the city of Caxito, on his way back from Uíge and headed towards Zaire, provinces where the PRS made known the electoral manifesto to the militant mass, friends and sympathizers, acknowledged that the province of Bengo is potentially agricultural, and which produces large amounts of food.

“One of the measures that we will implement here will also include the construction of a medium agrarian institute, so that there are qualified staff, to guarantee the sustainable development of this region”, said the politician.

He defended, at the time, that the development of Bengo would only be done in a federalist state. “We intend to develop the city of Caxito, so that each citizen can live better”.

The president of the PRS added that, for Bengo province and others in the country, he has a plan to improve the Education and Health sectors, and also foresees the construction of the national road network.

Benedito Saniel underlined that the party’s governance program foresees the implementation of compulsory and universal basic public insurance, as well as subsidies for the unemployed.
