Africa-Press – Angola. The book entitled “Financial Performance of the Angolan Banking Sector – in the time of Covid-19 (2020)”, by the Angolan writer, Rui de Oliveira Caetano, will be launched on Friday, the 28th, in the auditorium of the BAI Academy, in Luanda.
According to a press release, the work is the author’s first and is the result of an end-of-course work, based on the assessment of the “peak” of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 on the stability of the Angolan banking system.
In his research, the author took into account the data available from the National Bank of Angola, the Deloitte report on “Banca em Análise 2021” and from Angolan banking institutions.
With a vast professional experience of 26 years in the banking sector, Rui Caetano, has so far performed the functions of Client Manager, Branch Treasurer and Central Treasurer at Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA), as well as Deputy Manager of Branches of International Bank of Commerce (BIC).
Rui Caetano was born in the province of Cuanza-Norte and is currently the director of the commercial area of Banco BIC, where he has worked since 2005.
