Africa-Press – Angola. The rise in oil continues, at a time when the raw material is being boosted by the war in Ukraine.

In this session, the barrel of Brent, which serves as a reference for Angolan exports, has already surpassed the ‘level’ of US$119 per barrel, thus approaching the level of US$120.

At around 7:45 am (Lisbon time), the barrel of Brent rose to $119.76 per barrel, according to Investing. However, a moment ago the raw material was trading at 115.72 dollars, thus moderating the gains.

The price of a barrel of Brent crude for May delivery opened up 3.48% on the open London futures market to $116.8, a new high since August 2013.

The price soared on fears of a global oil supply crisis following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine .
