Africa-Press – Angola. The President of the Republic, João Lourenço, informed that negotiations are underway for the transfer of land so that Cape Verde can develop Agriculture in Angola “for export purposes”.
“It is not yet a reality but we are going to renew this intention and we believe that, soon, this common desire of the two countries will be fulfilled”, he said.
João Lourenço was speaking at a press conference as part of the three-day State visit to Cape Verde.
This Monday Angola and Cape Verde signed four cooperation agreements in the various economic fields in Praia.
The Head of State is accompanied by the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, and the ministers of Foreign Affairs and Transport, in addition to members of his cabinet.
