Africa-Press – Angola. The president of the National Assembly, Carolina Cerqueira, this Tuesday, in Luanda, asked the deputies to do more work, for the well-being of the populations and the country.
Carolina Cerqueira was speaking to the press before traveling to the province of Cuanza Sul, for a working visit of a few hours, aimed at verifying the conditions of the parliamentary nucleus.
In her brief speech, the president of the Angolan Parliament appealed to the deputies for a greater effort, in order to prove that they correspond to the expectations and aspirations of the population, through a performance with excellence in the House of Laws.
“It is the first time that we are going to monitor the state of the provincial delegations of the National Assembly. We want to make a diagnosis, so that we can improve the functioning at the headquarters and in the provinces”, said the parliamentarian.
In Cuanza Sul, the agenda includes listening to members of the provincial circle of the National Assembly.
