Africa-Press – Angola. “House, work and fair salary” is the slogan of CASA-CE’s electoral campaign for the August 24 General Elections, according to a note from the coalition sent yesterday .
The motto, approved on Wednesday by the Presidential College, was a proposal by the president of CASA-CE, Manuel Fernandes, welcomed by the members of the coalition’s top body.
The slogan is supported by the proposal for the governance program of CASA-CE for the five-year period 2022-2027.
The Presidential College, CASA-CE’s decision-making body, was informed, in the voice of the representative, the jurist Carlos Jacinto, that the process of evaluating the candidacy submitted to the Constitutional Court is proceeding at a good pace, and so far no anomalies have been verified around support subscriptions. This fact, he said, cements the certainty of the validation of the candidacy of the third largest political force, in the coming days.
Held under the guidance of Manuel Fernandes, the 15th ordinary meeting of the Presidential College also analyzed the political, economic and social situation in the country. CASA-CE considers that the economic situation is “very suffering for the vast majority of Angolan families”, despite the reduction in the price of basic food products.
Founded on April 3, 2012, in Luanda, CASA-CE is the third largest political force represented in the National Assembly, behind the MPLA and UNITA.
The coalition was the second political organization to formalize its candidacy with the Constitutional Court, after the MPLA.
