Africa-Press – Angola. The Cazengo Social Consultation and Consultation Council, in Ndalatando, recommended the urgent rehabilitation of access roads and the reinforcement of the supply of drinking water and electricity to the provincial capital of Cuanza-Norte.
Meeting this week, for the first time since the appointment, last June, of the new municipal administrator of Cazengo, Fernandino Leitão, the Council also recommended carrying out more actions to raise awareness among the population about preventing and combating diseases.
Improving hygiene and sanitation in neighborhoods, desilting and cleaning drainage ditches and lakes and rivers, as well as strengthening medical assistance for the population are also among the recommendations made at the meeting.
On the occasion, the new administrator reiterated his commitment to participatory governance to improve the population’s quality of life.
Fernandino Leitão chose the road infrastructure, health and education sectors as priorities.
