Africa-Press – Angola. Starting the group stage of the current edition of the African Champions League in football with victory is the main goal of Petro de Luanda coach Alexandre Santos.
He said that the home factor is not always decisive in the performance, because the reality is different and the opponents too, more than a victory at home moralizes the players, coaches and other members of the team.
In a launch conference for Saturday’s game, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, for the first round of group A, the coach said they were prepared for the difficulties to be encountered in the competition and to improve the performance of the previous edition.
He reported that midfielder Carlos, in the recovery phase, is the only casualty in the working group.
Meanwhile, midfielder Soares called on the fans to be present at the stadium, as they end up being decisive in the team’s performance.
