Africa-Press – Angola. The players of the Lions of Teranga (Senegal) received, from the hands of the President of the Republic, Macky Sall, a prize of 50 million CFA weak (US$ 87 thousand) and land, for the conquest of the first continental title during the recent 33rd edition of the Cup of Africa of Nations in football.
In a reception and congratulation ceremony held on Tuesday in front of the gates of the Presidential Palace, the Senegalese Head of State announced that the plots of land measure 200 square meters, in the capital of the country (Dakar), and 500 square meters in Diamniadio, which is the new city under construction, 30 kilometers from Dakar.
The land offered to Lions in this new city will form a city called “Lions Den,” President Macky Sall announced.
