Archbishop Zeferino Zeca Martins spoke to the Catholic faithful at the closing mass of the pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Monte, located in the municipality of Caála, assigned to the Archdiocese of Huambo.
The prelate said that each one, with their knowledge, political and civic maturity, “show the world that they want to build a truly democratic, inclusive and progress-oriented society”.
To the pilgrims, the archbishop appealed to work for the development of Angola. And that each one, in their place of work, assume their obligations and duties with responsibility and a generous spirit. “It is without distraction that the governed and governors all help to build Huambo”, he added.
He asked that families be both schools and house churches in the education of their children, in the transmission of cultural and moral values, in carrying out the sacrificed work of everyday life.
